20 LITRE JERRY CANS — OTHER SIZES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST — LIQUID FORMAT
This highly effective, water-dilutable, non-solvent engine room cleaner removes oils, grease and hydrocarbon soiling without disrupting oily water separator (OWS) performance. Built on eco-benign® chemistry and enhanced with specialised bacterial strains, Ecoclean 3000 supports both cleaning and the downstream treatment of oily residues.
Application: Engine room cleaning, including bilges, machinery surfaces and general cleaning areas
Use: Manual cleaning of engine room surfaces using diluted product
Use type: Routine cleaning and maintenance

Overview
Biotal Ecoclean 3000 is a highly effective water-dilutable non-solvent engine room cleaner, specially formulated to remove oils, grease and other hydrocarbon soiling from surfaces.
Ecoclean 3000 uses a carefully balanced surfactant system that lifts and emulsifies oils during cleaning, then rapidly breaks the emulsion once diluted in the bilge or waste system.
This “clean and break” approach ensures effective surface cleaning while allowing oil and water to separate efficiently downstream.
The formulation also includes bacteria that degrade the surfactants stabilising emulsions and assist in breaking down residual hydrocarbons.
Benefits
Supports efficient oil and water separation after cleaning
Removes oils, grease and hydrocarbon contamination effectively
Helps maintain reliable oily water separator (OWS) performance
Reduces volume of oily waste requiring disposal
Minimises risk of non-compliance with MARPOL Annex I discharge regulations
Suitable for routine engine room cleaning without system disruption

Our products are designed for environmental responsibility
Eco-benign® formulations
Designed to perform effectively while breaking down to natural biomaterials that are biodegradable in treatment systems and the environment.
Reduced reliance on aggressive chemistry
Replaces or reduces the need for corrosive mineral acids, solvents and caustic treatments traditionally used on board.
Lower environmental impact by design
Formulated to avoid the environmental hazard classifications associated with traditional acids and heavy chemistry.
Gentler on marine environments
Focuses on biodegradation and controlled breakdown of waste, rather than simply lowering oil levels without regard for wider toxicity
