Overview
Biotal Marine GW 3000 is a liquid biological treatment designed specifically for grey water storage tanks on board vessels. It supports the natural breakdown of organic waste found in galley, accommodation and laundry waste water, helping systems run more cleanly and efficiently.
Formulated with application-specific bacteria and a natural sulphide control component, the product works continuously to prevent odour formation and solids build-up at source. This reduces reliance on harsher chemical treatments and avoids the cycle of reactive, short-term fixes.
GW 3000 is suitable for manual or automated dosing and performs effectively in typical marine tank conditions, including lower temperatures and variable loading, without the need for aeration or heating.
Benefits
Helps control fats, oils and grease, limiting solids build-up
Reduces odours by preventing hydrogen sulphide formation at source
Supports tank integrity by reducing acidic conditions linked to corrosion
Effective in low-temperature marine environments
Suitable for continuous dosing via automated or manual systems

Our products are designed for environmental responsibility
Eco-benign® formulations
Designed to perform effectively while breaking down to natural biomaterials that are biodegradable in treatment systems and the environment.
Reduced reliance on aggressive chemistry
Replaces or reduces the need for corrosive mineral acids, solvents and caustic treatments traditionally used on board.
Lower environmental impact by design
Formulated to avoid the environmental hazard classifications associated with traditional acids and heavy chemistry.
Gentler on marine environments
Focuses on biodegradation and controlled breakdown of waste, rather than simply lowering oil levels without regard for wider toxicity.
