Overview
Biotal MDS 3000 is a biological toilet cleaner that delivers deep cleaning performance while supporting the wider marine sanitation system.
The formulation contains application-specific bacteria that release enzymes to break down human waste and organic matter, helping prevent the build-up of deposits within sanitation pipework and systems.
In addition to biological cleaning, the product incorporates eco-benign® chemistry designed to interfere with the formation of inorganic scale. This reduces scale build-up and makes any deposits that do form softer and easier to remove through normal system flow.
When used regularly, the bacteria establish a biofilm throughout the sanitation system, providing continuous biological activity that supports waste degradation, reduces sludge formation and improves overall system efficiency.
Benefits
Reduces organic and inorganic scale build-up in pipework
Provides deep cleaning of toilets, urinals and washroom surfaces
Helps prevent blockages and maintain flow in black water systems
Reduces odours at source across sanitation systems
Supports and enhances biological sewage treatment performance
Reduces reliance on harsh chemical cleaners

Our products are designed for environmental responsibility
Eco-benign® formulations
Designed to perform effectively while breaking down to natural biomaterials that are biodegradable in treatment systems and the environment.
Reduced reliance on aggressive chemistry
Replaces or reduces the need for corrosive mineral acids, solvents and caustic treatments traditionally used on board.
Lower environmental impact by design
Formulated to avoid the environmental hazard classifications associated with traditional acids and heavy chemistry.
Gentler on marine environments
Focuses on biodegradation and controlled breakdown of waste, rather than simply lowering oil levels without regard for wider toxicity
